Ashara Mubaraka Waaz

By Farman of Huzurala Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin tus, Mazoon-e-Dawat Syedi wa Molai Khuzaima Bhaisaheb Qutbuddin graced the city of Indore for Ashara Mubaraka 1428H. Mazoon Mola tus showered mumineen muminaat and children of Indore with countless barakaat first in waaz and throughout his safar mubarak of 33 days: 30 days in Indore, 2 days in Ujjain and 1 day in Shajapur.

On pehli tareekh of Muharram 1428, Mazoon mola arrived in Indore and then proceeded to Ujjain for ziarat of Do'at Kiram.

During Ashara, mumineen received azeem sharaf of doing deedar of Imami jalwa in live audio video relay of Huzurala tus waaz mubarak from Colombo on several occasions.

It is impossible to express the barakat, ruhaniyyat, and athar that was felt by everyone present in waaz mubarak. In the first wa'az, Mazoon Mola did the bayan of Surat Watteen, in which there is zikar of the fruits that Allah TA takes qasam. Indeed, each day in waaz mubarak was the taste of the fruits of jannat, increasing mumineens darajaat in ‘ilm, in ma’refat, especially of Daiz-zamaan Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin tus. Each day, Mazoon Mola guided mumineen with maw’izat, advising them to prepare for aakherat by leading life according to shari’at, seeking ‘ilm of Aale Mohammed and doing khidmat of da’wat, while leading a full life in this world. La-qeemat invaluable pearls of doa flowed from the takhat throughout the waaz. After each waaz, mumineen with tears in their eyes, expressed shukur for this azeem ne'mat that Dai-Zaman tus has bestowed upon mumineen of Indore this year. Mazoon-e-Dawat's pur-riqqat rendition of the shahadat of Imam Husain SA made every day feel like Aashura, and throughout Ashara and especially on Aashura, mumineen did purjosh matam of Imam Husain.

On 9th night of Muharram, there was niyaz jaman of Aqamola tus in all of Indore. Then, on Ashura night there was niyaz jaman of Syedi Mazoon Saheb in all of Indore. Iftaar doodh on 11th night of Muharram was on behalf of Baisaheba Sakina Baisaheba (wife of Syedi Mazoon Saheb).

Ashura Night and Day

The gham and maatam climaxed in Aashura. mumineen received the azeem ne’mat of listening to shahadat of Imam Husain SA recited by Huzurala tus through live audio video relay of the Aashura morning waaz, and then hearing the maqtal bayan by his Mazoon. Tears flowed uncontrollably as Mazoon-e-Dawat prayed the shahadat of As-hab, Ahl-ul-Bayt and Husain Imam during maqtal. After the culmination of the waaz, Mazoon mola performed sajda in qibla and then returned to the takhat, as the masjid resonated with the nara of Ya Husain.

On Aashura night Abde-Ali bhaisaheb bin Syedi Mazoon Saheb did pur josh bayan in presence of Mazoon mola tus and Husain bhaisaheb bin Syedi Mazoon Saheb prayed the doa and vasila with great riqqat after zohor namaz on yaume Aashura.

Visit of Honorable Governor of MP

On 11th night of Muharram, after Aashura maqtal bayaan, Maghrib Isha namaaz and iftaar, the Honorable Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Balram Jakhar, especially came to the Masjid complex in Saify Nagar to meet Syedi Mazoon Saheb tus. The Governor toured the masjid complex with thousands of mumineen still gathered there. He then accompanied Mazoon Mola to the utara where there was a private meeting with Syedi Mazoon Saheb, followed by an official reception by the Indore Jamaat. Mazoon Mola conveyed the Doa paighaam of Aqamola tus to the Governor and thanked him for his visit. The Governor immediately replied, 'aapke to hum sheda hey'. Mazoon Mola instructed his son Abde-Ali bhaisaheb to present words of welcome to the Governor. The Governor was very impressed with the discipline of our community and with the practice of leading a life that furthers the progress of our nation. He expressed his appreciation to Mazoon Saheb for the warm welcome he had received, and the admiration he bears for our community.

After Ashura, on the 11th night of Muharram, following the Governor’s departure, the qadambosi of mumineen commenced continuing until after midnight. The following night, after Maghrib Isha namaz and the suyum majlis of Imam Husain SA, the qadambosi of mu’minaat continued for over five hours.

During Mazoon mola's stay, there were several general qadambosi bethaks of about 3-4 hours each, in which Mazoon mola listened to hawa'ij of mumineen muminaat. Mazoon-e-Dawat also gave time to mumineen for araz bethak at utara. Even after returning from ziafat late at night a large number of mumineen gathered at the utara for shifa and araz.

Urus Majalis in Indore Mohallas

Throughout the stay in Indore, upon the araz of mumineen of the various mohallas, Mazoon mola tus graced majalis in the mohalla masjids. On the urus of Syedna Hatim b. Ibrahim RA, urus majlis and darees was held in Saify masjid, Saify Nagar. On the urus mubarak day of Syedna Ibrahim Wajihuddin RA, 17th Muharram, Sunday morning, the urus majlis was held in Saifee Mohalla’s Saify masjid. There Jamaat and mumineen of Indore did khayr maqdam of Mazoon Mola tus. On 23rd Muharram night, urus of Syedi Hasan fir Shahid QR, urus mubarak majlis was held in Siaganj ilaqa masjid. The masjid is being reconstructed and Mazoon Mola tus did doa for the early completion of the work and that the mamthul of the masjid, Huzurala tus, would grace it with his presence soon. On 27th Muharram night, urus mubarak majlis of Syedi Fakhruddin Shahid was held in the masjid in Noorani Nagar, Indore. On all these nights, Mazoon Mola bestowed mumineen with barakat of bayan mubarak and all mumineen and mu’minaat in all three mohallas received sharaf of qadambosi. On 27th night of Muharram, according to the irshad of Mazoon-e-Dawat, Aziz bhaisaheb (bin Syedi Mazoon Saheb) convened urus majlis in Saify Masjid, Saify Nagar, and did pur josh bayan. Aziz bhaisaheb was in Syedi Mazoon Saheb's khidmat throughout indore visit; his tireless khidmat day and night and his sincerity and warmth won the hearts of all mumineen.

Safar to Ujjain and Shajapur

On 16th Muharram, Syedi Mazoon Saheb proceeded to Ujjain, where he did ziarat of Do'at Kiram and ghaseel rasam. On 17th night of Muharram, Mazoon Mola convened the urus mubarak majlis of Syedna Ibrahim Wajihuddin RA. The manzar was unique as the majlis was held inside the qubbah mubaraka. mumineen of Ujjain were gathered in thousands to gather barakaat of urus mubarak and the presence of Mazoon-e-Dawat in their midst. Mazoon Mola returned to Indore that very night.

On 25th Muharram Mazoon Mola tus travelled to Shajapur upon the araz of mumineen. Mazoon Mola tus was received at the city limits by the MLA representing Shajapur in the Lok Sabha. After receiving Syedi Mazoon Saheb on the highway in the car, he insisted that Mazoon Mola grace his house with his presence. He thanked Mazoon Mola and did araz that Huzurala tus also grace Shajapur upon his next visit to Indore. After ziafat in the afternoon at the house of a mu’min mukhlis, Mazoon Mola proceeded to the masjid just before Maghrib. All mumineen of Shajapur had gathered at the main chowk in Shajapur five minutes from the masjid and received Mazoon Mola tus in a shandar julus through the main market. The joy and mohabbat josh of mumineen at the sight of Mazoon Mola in their town after a long 33 years is inexpressible. mumineen were also joined by the local population of other communities of Shajapur-local politicians, shopkeepers etc-in welcoming Mazoon Mola. Despite the crowd of mumineen, they gathered alongside mumineen to take blessings (asherwad) and present bouquets of flowers to Mazoon Mola. Following namaz Mazoon Mola bestowed mumineen with sharaf of bayan mubarak and qadambosi. He then proceeded for ziarat of Syedi Yusuf khan bin Syedi Shamaskhan, brother of Syedi Hasanji Badshah, in Shajapur and then for ziafat and qadam. Shajapur is the watan of Al-Mawla al-Ajal Syedi Abde-Ali Imaduddin QR. His house is still present in Shajapur. Mazoon-e-Dawat aa ghar ma padhara ane barakat leedi. Mazoon Mola returned to Indore late in the night.

Ikram by mumineen

During the stay over 40 mumineen got the sharaf of ikraam ziafat, majlis and qadam. Mazoon Mola even accepted the araz of a Mu’min bhai living 50KM away from Indore in a small town called Depalpur. Mazoon Mola tus travelled to Depalpur where the joy of the small population of mumineen and even others was immense. Mazoon Mola said that I always say ‘ek mu’min bulawe to bhi me aaw chu’. Burhani Women’s Association also got sharaf of ziafat in which Mazoon Mola bestowed them with sharaf of nasihat na kalam for almost an hour.

As a result of Mazoon Mola's safar the mu’minaat of Indore also got the ne'mat of sabaq with the daughter of Mazoon Mola, Dr. Bazat Saifiyah baisaheba. The interest in sabaq kept increasing until in the last sabaq over 500 mu’minaat attended. Also, Fatema baisaheba (binte Syedi Mazoon Saheb) did pur riqqat shahadat bayan in muminaat majlis of Husain Imam SA, after Ashara ayyam.

Madrasa Program

On the 24th of Muharram, Sunday, a madrasah program took place in which the children of all madrasahs in Indore participated. The atmosphere was electric. When Mazoon Mola entered the sehen of the main masjid which was packed with upto 2000 children, the mohabbat and josh of the children calling out to Mazoon Mola was extraordinary. Starting with Qur’an-e-Majid, children recited various qasida and madeh and also presented interesting and educational skits. At the end of the program Mazoon Mola bestowed children and mu’allimin with doa na kalimaat. All children got sharaf of qadambosi and of taking tashrif from Mazoon mola’s hand. Mazoon Mola also graced the new building of MSB Indore with qadam mubarak.

Misaq and Badri Baugh Housing Project Program

On the last Friday in Indore, the regular Zohor Asar namaz in the masjid was followed by general misaq. Mazoon Mola tus took over 70 new misaq and safaqat continued until Maghrib. That evening Mazoon Mola graced the mumineen living in the Badri Baugh Housing Scheme, where mumineen are offered housing at a subsidized rate and with credit facilities. Mazoon Mola prayed imamat namaz at the site where a new masjid is to be built, and bestowed mumineen with doa kalimaat and sharaf of qadambosi. He also visited a few apartments in the complex and planted several trees, stressing that greenery should be increased in the area. He bestowed doa for Sh. Saifuddin bhai and Sh. Mohammed bhai Khambati, who inspired by Huzurala tus’s bayan mubarak have undertaken this massive project. Mazoon Mola's utara was also at their house throughout his stay in Indore. They did khidmat of Syedi Mazoon Saheb with nashat, mohabbat and ikhlas during Mazoon mola stay.

Mazoon mola also did inauguration of the new bungalow of the Qutbi family (formerly Mundrawala family), all of whom did a lot of khidmat during Mazoon mola stay. Mazoon mola also graced their bungalow for one night utara.

On the final day in Indore, the 1st of Safar, masarrat program was held in the masjid compound. The magic show, funfair and food stalls for mumineen and their children was unique. Before maghrib the shabgast of dulahs was also very well organized with bands, camels, horses and carriages. Syedi Mazoon Saheb came to masjid and performed nikah and sehra ceremony in the evening before Maghrib.

After Maghrib Isha namaz, jamaat and mumineen performed wada rasam and Mazoon Mola tus bestowed mumineen with doa na kalemaat. A few mumineen were able to get sharaf of qadambosi before Mazoon Mola proceeded for the airport, but the emotion and mohabbat josh of mumineen made it nearly impossible to leave. At the masjid entrance, a number of MLAs had come to meet Mazoon Mola and seek his doa despite the incredible izdiham of mumineen. Outside the masjid, the large masjid compound and the internal colony roads were packed with mumineen who came to bid farewell to their beloved Mazoon Mola. Mazoon Mola tus proceeded in an open jeep through the compound and through Saify Nagar (colony of mumineen) until the main road, which took nearly half an hour. With tears in their eyes mumineen of Indore flanked the jeep to do araz for doa for Mazoon Mola tus to return soon to Indore. mumineen there expressed that they had never seen such a manzar. The scene is beyond description.

Mazoon Mola tus returned to Mumbai from Indore and performed ziarat in Rozat Tahera.

A mu’min did araz that having taken the barakaat and having seen the shanaat of Burhanuddin Mola’s Mazoon: ‘mumineen, mohabbat na logo na dil khush thaya, anay hasideen (the people of jealousy) jali gaya, anay akhbar suni ne haji jalse.’

May Allah TA give a long life till qiyamat in sehhat and aafiyat to waliyy un ne’mat our shafiq bawa Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin tus and in his saya a long life in sehhat to Syedi Mazoon Saheb for Aqamola tus and dawat khidmat. Ameen.
